I was able to unstick the K key by opening up Notepad while the game was running, but the left on the stick's lower hat refused to work, and, despite all of the hat position being Shift + Respective Arrow Keys, using the profiler test program showed only the arrow key presses firing, not the shift key combo. This time, my issue seemed to be a stuck Shift+K key. I don't know if Logitech's rebranding changed anything about the stick to make it not work with the old drivers/software.ĭoing this reduced my repro rate from once every two or three hours to once every ten or fifteen. Note: my X52 Pro is old enough it came in a Saitek box. I like the Mad Catz software better than Logitech's the shortcut to the Control Panel Device Properties window alone is worth it, even if it didn't reduce my problem. If you're only using the logitech software to map the buttons to the keyboard, have you considered trying to use a different software like joystick gremlin or joyTokey? i'm currently using both for different games, joystick gremlin for crimson skies (because it only sees 1 controller and i'm currently combining my old saitek and my new vkb. could it be the logitech software is just crashing which is why the buttons aren't working? have you tested this problem in something like notepad, where you can "type" keymapped buttons?Įdit: if the shift key IS stuck, you should also be able to tell by typing with your keyboard.if it's all caps w/ caps lock off, then yeah, shift is stuck. I have an old saitek x45 that i'm currently using, but i haven't installed the old saitek software since windows 7 i think.
